It's importance as a scientist to do some science each day, for example, this brave scientist doesn't waste his time in church, he makes drugs to fight cancer.

My own contribution as a scientist is to block out the word "god" on dollar bills:

I think my work is a bit more useful personally, some people use cancer drugs, but everyone uses money. But at least we both contribute to science, what have you done today?
